Widow of Waliu, stray bullet victim, cries for help

The wife of the 44-year old man, Dauda Waliu, who was killed by stray bullet allegedly shot by a police officer on Sunday August 25 at Shogunle area of Oshodi, Memuda Waliu, has cried out for help, saying she is left with six children to  cater for.

 

She spoke as police authorities disclosed that two policemen suspected to be involved are being quizzed and may be charged to court soon.

 

When ECHONEWS visited her residence at No 1 Bello Street, Sogunle Oshodi, the widow said that she had no job as her husband was the only breadwinner of the family.

 

It was reported by ECHONEWS Online that Dauda, a rentals service provider, was allegedly killed by one of the police officers attached to one dignitary who attended a church function where the victim rendered his service.
