Why we’re supporting Tinubu – Arewa Group

The leadership of Arewa Group in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government has declared its reasons for supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The leaders of the group claimed that their opinion is not based on religious or ethnic interest as they have weighed all possibilities before declaring their support.
The representative of the group, Alhaji Salisu Yahya described Tinubu as a nation builder, stating that his strategy entails community development which showcases his deep understanding of grassroots development.
He also noted that as an ethnic group in Nigeria, they have noticed that Tinubu is a detribalised nationalist which gives them the privilege of engaging in governance in any political office of interest.
Yahaya encouraged all members to avoid disunity during this period and overlook the shortcomings of different caucuses in the party while urging that their primary goal is to canvass, support and vote for APC in all proposed political offices.
