Use the fund for business, Oba Ajose charges Yayi Empowerment Fund beneficiaries

The Alapa of Egun-Awori kingdom, Oba Oyekan Adekanmi Ajose (JP) Possi lll, has appealed to the beneficiaries of skills acquisition/empowerment support programme facilitated by the Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Sen. Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) to utilize the support fund for business enhancement.

Oba Ajose commended Yayi’s effort towards ensuring constant empowerment support to constituents of the district for a better living.

He stated that such consistent programme will reduce unemployment among the youths and curb crimes in the society.

No fewer than 100 residents selected across the constituency benefited from the programme as they gathered at Oshodi-Isolo Local government marriage registry for to received the fund.

Each beneficiary got N30,000 as an empowerment package support to kick start what they were taught during the empowerment training to grow the business.

They were taught how to produce homemade air freshener gel, bleach, liquid soap and perfume.

The beneficiaries commended the organiser of the programme, promising to invest the capital received into the skills acquired for self independent.
