As part of effort towards decongestion of perennial traffic along Mushin Road, the authorities of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has embarked on the rehabilitation of Nureni Street with full hardcore stone work to serve as an alternative route for the motorists.
According to the Council Chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye (Shammeh), the rehabilitation work is a direct response to the total disrepair state of the road from Mushin Road junction.
Similarly, intensive repair work has also begun on Kogberegbe Street which serves as bye-pass to Oke Afa.
“These are part of palliative efforts embarked upon by Isolo LCDA to make some of the roads motorable within the council area.
“The authorities of the council area seek the cooperation and understanding of residents and motorists while regretting any inconvenience caused by the rehabilitation exercise,” the Chairman said.
