Grassroots coaches in this new generation dispensation have played a pivotal role in the development of players.

The grassroots has been the place where professional players horn their skills at a tender age where they learn the basics and techniques of the game before moving to a professional club.

The management of SGH Sports Academy Amazons led by their indefatigable chairman, Temidayo Bakare congratulated the coaching duo of Coach Oluwafemi Ogungbile and Coach Timilehin Hammed for nurturing Amina Bello to a shinning star during her building process in the grassroots before she moved to Naija Ratels.

Bakare said Amina Bello journey in making the final list of Nigeria U17 squad to the FIFA U17 Women World Cup in India started with coach Timilehin Hammed and coach Oluwafemi Ogungbile.

“Congratulations to Coach Oluwafemi Ogungbile (Jojo) and Coach Timilehin Hammed (Puma) for giving your best to Amina Omowunmi Bello from her tender age to learn details of the round leather game.

“Amina Bello journey to making the final list of Nigeria Under-17 world cup team that will play the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup in India started from you coach Timilehin Hammed and coach Oluwafemi Ogungbile.
