Serie A: Okoye Admires Inter Milan Ferocious Attack In Udinese Loss

Nigeria goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye was thrown in admiration by the attacking clique of Inter Milan which led to the club thrashing Udinese 5-3 at the San Siro Stadium on Monday night.

Udinese stunned the home fans with a two goal lead inside 16 minutes of the game before the Nerazzurri came back on level terms before the break and racking up three goals in quick succession to hand an eight goal thriller defeat to the Little Zebras.

Okoye was honest with his reaction of the game by acknowledging that Inter Milan played better with a brutal attack who took no prisoners in the heavy defeat to Udinese.

He believes his side threw their chances away in a game that produced eight goals in the Italian top-flight.

“It’s always difficult against Inter at San Siro. They play very attacking football and don’t stop even after scoring three or four goals. We also had our chances but they are too strong,” Okoye told Udinese.

Udinese have now recorded two successive defeats with only a win in the Serie A this season, while Inter Milan have a perfect run of four wins in four games and sit on same points with Roma on the top of the table.

The Little Zebras will square up against Cagliari in their next game on Saturday, September 19, while the Nerazzurri will travel to face table leaders, Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on same date.
