Sanwo-Olu Names Professor Badejo New LASU Vice Chancellor

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Professor Badejo Ayodeji Olawunmi as the new Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, LASU.
The appointment was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso.
Professor Badejo, a Professor of Guidance and Counselling, was born on August 4, 1962.
She obtained her Ph.D in Guidance and Counselling and M.Ed in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos, UNILAG.
She succeeds Professor Ibijoke Olatunji Bello, whose 5 year tenure as Vice Chancellor is coming to an end upon her retirement.
The appointment places Professor Badejo at the helm of one of Lagos State’s major tertiary institutions as the university transitions to a new administration.
