Controversial Nigerian street-pop star, Portable, has welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Omobewaji, just hours after his celebrity boxing defeat to comedian Carter Efe in the early hours of Saturday, May 2, 2026.

The news of the birth was announced by his manager, Babyluvgram, via Instagram, where she shared a celebratory message confirming the arrival of the newborn.

She wrote: “My baby just gave birth to a baby boy. Congratulations Portablebaeby, person no go fit fall two times. Thank God o iya baby.”

Portable also confirmed the joyful development on his Instagram story, expressing gratitude to his wife and celebrating the new addition to their family.

“God bless you more dashobomi omoleye omobewaji mi for making me happy. Omo jiyamo fijabi,” he wrote.

The announcement comes just hours after Portable suffered a unanimous decision loss to Carter Efe in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos, ending his unbeaten run in exhibition fights.
