The Inspectors in Chairman’s office
An inspection team from Lagos State Public Infrastructure Monitoring Unit (PIMU) visited Isolo LCDA secretariat today 4th of July 2018 to inspect projects being listed by the council for commissioning by the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
The PIMU team was received by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye and the Council Engineer, Engr. Alonge Olaleye.
School bus assessment
The governor is scheduled to make a tripartite visit to Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs soon as part of his familiarization tour of the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs across the state ahead of the governorship election next year.
Ahead of the governor’s impending visit, inspectors from the ministry were on hand to access the readiness of the council for the governor’s visit as well as access projects expected to be commissioned by the governor.
Road project assessment
Isolo LCDA has listed two road projects, two school buses, customized school bags and maternity packs for commissioning.
The inspectors made commendable remarks on the school buses, customized school bags as well as the maternity packs expected to be distributed to pregnant women across the LCDA.
The team was also led to the sites of the road projects at Baale Shekoni Street, Ajao Estate and Goloba Street in Isolo where the inspectors made observations and also gave useful advice on how best to showcase the projects.
It would be recalled that the council hosted a similar monitoring team from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs early May this year to access the readiness of the council to receive the governor.
