Ozoya youths tourney will give kids opportunity to showcase their talent – Fortune

The maiden edition of the Ozoya youths tourney will be hosted at Jalisco mini stadium where talented kids will have the opportunity to showcase their talents to prospective scouts who will be on standby to pick the best legs in the tourney.

Ozoya youths tourney is an age grade tourney divided into two groups which is the U14 and U16.

Speaking with ECHONEWS, the organizer of the tourney, Michael Fortune disclosed that the purpose of the competition is to encourage grassroots teams, support them and give the participating club players the opportunity to showcase their talents.

“The purpose of this initiative is to encourage grassroots teams, support them. The tournament also gives the kid the platform to showcase their and the lucky ones will get educational and football scholarship through the Ozoya football foundation.

“The tourney is sponsored by Monday Ozoya and individual awards will be up for grabs, which are, highest goal scorer, most valuable player and coach of the tournament.”
