Oshodi-Isolo swear in councillors

All Progressives Congress to run the affairs of the LGA for the overall development of the people and the communities.
Hon.Ariyoh added:”You have given me another mandate;and I promise you that you will not regret your decision .I am therefore saying,with the support of my councillors from all the seven
wards,Oshodi -Isolo LGA will witness a progressive change in the coming years”
The seven councillors were sworn in first by taking oath of allegiance after which the election of the Leader of the House commenced.
Hon.Muhammed Rasaq from Afariogun ward and Hon.Obasa Adesina from Oluyeye ward were nominated for the position.During the election,5 votes against 2 was cast in favour of Hon.Obasa Adesina while the only female councillor amidst them was nominated for Deputy Leader and she won unopposed.
Having successfully conducted the house leader election,the elected leader,Hon.Obasa Adasina was dressed in a robe and Wig which portrayed him as the speaker of the house.
The clerk of the council,Alhaji Shakirudeen Omotunji who conducted the election proceedings admonished the house leader and the councillors to discharge their duties properly.
