Oloyede Sets To Provide Additional 26 Boreholes Across Council Area

In his prompt response to the demand for portable water by residents, the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has perfected plans for the construction of 26 additional boreholes across the council areas.

 

The provision of these borehole water will put a permanent stop to the problem of unavailability of water in the areas they will be dug.

 

Recall that the chairman, Oloyede, during the commissioning of Alade street, had disclosed that he had received several requests concerning water and he had given approval for boreholes to be dug in 25 locations within the council for the benefits of the residents.

 

There has however been an additional 1 location to enable the people have assess to drinkable water.

 

In a release issued by his media office, the council chairman promised that in the coming days, contractors will be mobilize to commence work.

 

These additional 26 boreholes will add to the 20 already constructed and are currently being used by the residents.

 

According to the council chairman, “I am happy to inform our people that in the coming days, contractors will be mobilize to 26 different locations to provide drinkable water for our people.”

 

“This is part of our efforts at ensuring that our people no longer experience hardship while trying to get assess to portable water. It will compliment the 20 that we have already done and that are currently serving our people.”
