– Oleum Academy launches Season 6 of auto technicians training

Oleum Company has launched the sixth season of its training programme attracting members of the Nigeria Automotive Technicians Association and Motor Mechanic Technicians Association of Nigeria to the class.
The beneficiaries are expected to learn modern ways of doing their job and receive gadgets such as standard auto diagonising machine which is popularly known as scanner, pull –over jackets and caps at the end of their training.
Certificates confirming the newly-acquired competencies are issued to the beneficiaries to encourage them to provide better professional services to their customers.
A beneficiary of the fifth seasonal training who doubles as the chairman of NATA, Ajao Estate unit, Comrade Daniel Ejiofor said the training added value to auto technicians by upgrading their knowledge of the advancement in automobile technology.
“The training is beneficial to us as individual and association because it creates opportunity for us to upgrade ourselves technologically.”
Other beneficiaries of the programme include individuals and students from tertiary institutions were part of the training to meet up with technical standards.
He added that the major aim of the training programme was to upgrade the knowledge of auto technicians, to enable them meet the current standards of auto industry, abolishing quackery in the workshops and on the streets thereby, giving new hope to the car users.
