NYCN Sensitizes Residents on Environmental Cleaning

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Mushin and Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye branches in partnership with Green Janitors, District 9110 Rotaract Club of Mushin, Nestle Care Nigeria and all other youth organizations staged an awareness rally to sensitize the residents on the importance of keeping environment clean always.

According to the body, the exercise is carried out in commemoration of the World Clean Up Day to make the residents especially the traders in the market aware and keep them abreast of the happenings across the world.

The rally kicked off with an orientation campaign for all volunteers at the Baale’s Compound, opposite Eko Boys High School with a large number of youths engaged in environmental sanitation and sensitization exercise.

The exercise moved through strategic areas in Idi-Oro community with the residents, market traders and onlookers showering praises on the youth body and the collaborative bodies.

The body commended the chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Bamgboye, his Vice, Hon. Alhaji Aruwe Tunbosun, and some others for the supports given to the youths to make rightful impact to the community.
