NWFL Premiership Super 6: Okon heaves sigh of relief, Danjuma enjoying, Aduku close to celebration

Bayelsa Queens have been a dominant force in the NWFL Premiership Super 6 as they maintain their 100 percent record in the ultimate search for champions campaign.

Rivers Angels got their first win in the NWFL Premiership Super 6 after they trounced Naija Ratels 2-0, goals were scored by their influential forward Chiamaka Okwuchukwu to grab a brace in the game.

Speaking to newsmen after the game, the coach of Rivers Angels, Edwin Okon feels relieved when answering questions from the Press as he maintains that Rivers Angels are still in the race to become champions and all hopes are not lost.

Nasarawa Amazons scaled past Delta Queens 1-0, it was an interesting encounter as Nasarawa Amazons took the lead following lack of communication in the defense of Delta Queens in the first half.

In the second half, Delta Queens pegged Nasarawa Amazons to their own half and threw away 2 penalties in the space of 5 minutes as it brings joy to Nasarawa Amazons squad.

Coach of Nasarawa Amazons, Christopher Danjuma stated that, he came to the Super 6 to enjoy himself despite pressure was written on his face.

Bayelsa Queens pip Edo Queens 2-1 to have a perfect run so far in the Super 6 as goal poacher, Monday Gift grabbed the goals for Bayelsa Queens and midfield maestro, Esther Oyenezide scoring Edo Queens lone goal.

Bayelsa Queens coach, Moses Aduku said it’s not yet time for celebration until the job of winning the NWFL Premiership Super 6 is done because he still has 2 more games to play.
