Nine Players have reported to Nigeria camp ahead of the double header LA Olympics qualifier against Comoros at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

The early arrivals are dominated by the domestic based players and one foreign based forward.

Farida Abdulwahab (Defender, Nasarawa Amazons), Tumininu Adeshina (Defender, Edo Queens), Joy Igbokwe (Midfielder, Nasarawa Amazons), Fatimoh Solaty (Midfielder, Nasarawa Amazons), Christiana Uzoma (Goalkeeper, Edo Queens), Blessing Nkor (Forward, Dynamo Brest, Belarus), Valentina Uroko (Defender, Edo Queens), Glory Edet (Defender, Bayelsa Queens) and Sandra John (Defender, Rivers Angels)

More players are expected to join the camp in the coming days as the Super Falcons intensify preparations for the important qualifier against Comoros.

Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time following their shallow performance at the WAFCON 2026 which served as the qualification pathway for the World mundial.

The Falcons qualified to the last Olympics in Paris where they crashed out in the group stage.

The introduction of a new technical crew setup is expected to engineer a renewed vigor in the Falcons.
