Nigeria Forward, Kenya Joins Swieqi United Women

Nigeria forward, Owolabi Kenya Blessing has joined Swieqi United Women FC on loan from Biik Kazygurt.

The Nakamura FA product has teamed up with the Malta side after having a terrific breakthrough season in Kazakhstan last season.

The 20-year-old Nigerian forward completes her move to the Malta-based club following her stellar goalscoring campaigns in Kazakhstan with clubs like Ordabasy, Tomiris-Turan, and BIIK Shymkent. She links up with the reigning Maltese league champions to bolster their attacking frontline for the 2025/2026 season

Kenya had a fifty goal contribution in Kazakhstan last season, she scored 30 goals and made 20 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.

She netted 22 goals in 12 matches for Biik Kazygurt, while she found the back of the net 8 times in 12 games for Tomiris Turan (On loan) in the second half of the season.

Swieqi United said they are glad to seal the signature of Kenya who arrives the club to bolster the attacking options ahead of the new season.

Swieqi United Women are scheduled to face Mġarr United in their next match on Friday, September 11. The two teams will face off in the Assikura Women’s Super Cup final.
