The award, according to the Board in its report  to the head teacher of the school, Mrs. Titilayo Oyebode, is based on the competence of the awardee and her teaching techniques.

She said she has always been working with conscience, doing what would make the pupils’ lives brighter in the future and contribute to their morality.

She, therefore, advised other teachers to be hardworking and more dedicated to the service of teaching and most importantly, to take the pupils as they would take their children so as to establish the cordial relationship to enhance teaching and learning process.

Commenting on the honour, the headteacher said it is a well-deserved honour, confirming that the awardee truly merits the award.

She said she can confidently recommend the awardee in any aspect of the teaching profession because she is competent and always ready to accept any additional work.
