LASTMA Inducts Radio Lagos Staff As Special Traffic Mayors

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has inducted four staff members of the Radio Lagos/Eko FM as its Special Traffic Mayors.
General Manager of LASTMA, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, opined that the addition of the inductees : Modupeola Adagun, Peter Olayinka, Adeola Orisile and Olufemi Obayomi to the agency serves as reassurance of its continued efforts in curbing traffic challenges alongside improving urban utility.
The agency’s boss relayed that the measure is a testament of the state’s commitment towards improving transportation and ensuring road safety.
Bakare-Oki also enjoined all agencies in the state to collaborate so as to enable an acceptable transportation system in the metropolis. He highlighted the significance of delivering real-time updates on officer’s conduct, road users and traffic conditions.
The appointees expressed appreciation for the new role bestowed to them and assured of their contribution to the state’s transportation tagrets.
The General Manager of the media stations, Jide Lawal, reassured support in promoting smoother traffic flow throughout the state.
