Jubilation as LASIEC clears APC candidates in Isolo

There has been an outpour of congratulatory messages through various social platforms in Isolo LCDA as Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) cleared the nine chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the fast-approaching Local government elections.

Some of the candidates broke the news on the platforms announcing that their credentials have been successfully verified by the electoral commission meaning that they are clear to contest in the elections.

Recall that ECHONEWS, yesterday, reported that the validation exercise will begin today and Isolo LCDA, Oshodi-Isolo LGA and Ejigbo LCDA were among the 28 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) whose candidates will be attended to today.

The remaining candidates for other LGAs and LCDAs will be attended to tomorrow as Saturday and Sunday are for candidates of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across the state.

APC’s candidate for Okota Ward who’s seeking reelection, Hon. Kanayo Osondu posted in one of the political Whatsapps groups: “Just finished with our documents validation at Lasiec. To God alone be all the glory,” while Hon. Abisodun Odusina-Adeoye who’s also seeking to represent Ishagatedo/Ire-Akari Ward for the second time commented: “Glory be to God, it is the Lord’s doing and it’s marvellous in our sight.
May His name alone be glorified.”

Reacting to the development, a legal luminary and politician in the community Barrister Kayode Ademiluyi posted: “Congratulations to the team, they have fought a good fight and have conquered.”

The son of Fuji Maestro, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Abiola Ayinde-Marshal commented by saying: “Congratulations… The winning Team. Ilerioluwa Ase.”(sic)

Mr Gafar Olafimihan from Ishagated/Ire-Akari Ward posted: “The new face of Isolo LCDA come July 24th insha Allah.” (sic)

Another member of the group identified as Almighty Kubana posted: “A bigger congratulations to the wonderful teams. This union has already been joined in heaven b4 this day. Once again congratulations to all of us at large.”(sic)
