The Chairman, Isolo LCDA Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye has reshuffled his cabinet promoting some administrators and giving deserved portfolio to some others.
The cabinet reshuffle, which was done on Monday, came barely six months of his reelection to the helms of affairs at the council and few days after the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, partly rejigged his cabinet at the state level.
Nofisat Sobayo, who was hitherto the Supervisor for Special Duties, is now the Supervisor for Youths and Sports Development while Hon. Raji Babatunde and Hon. Durojaye Wasiu who were recently scrutinized and sworn in by the council chairman after being certified by the Legislative Arms were respectively appointed the supervisor for Special Duties and Supervisor for Market and Revenue.
Besides, the Council Vice Chairman, Hon. Bayo Olasoju was appointed as the Supervisor for Health.
Other appointments include: Hon. Helen Ogunmakin (Chief of Staff), Hon. Emmanuel Kolawole Olojede (Secretary to Local Government), Hon. Buhari Olakunle Bello (Supervisor for Education), Hon. Abiodun Saheed (Supervisor for Environment) and Alhaji Wasiu Oketoki (Supervisor For Agriculture).
The appointed Special Advisers were Hon. Kuburat Taiwo (Special Adviser on Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation) and Princess Olayinka Agbabiaka, who was appointed Special Adviser on Budget.
However, two special advisers were added to the cabinet to assist the Council Chairman in his bid to promote good governance in Isolo LCDA.
Theywere Hon. Kayode Ismail Folorunsho (Works and Infrastructure) and Hon. Franca Udogwu (Liason Officer on South East & South South).
The Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Olojede stated that the reshuffle was necessary to enable the council chairman tackle the challenges facing his administration in due time.
