Isolo 2021: Olasoju highlights plans for first 100 days in office

The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Isolo LCDA, Hon. Adebayo Olasoju, has explained that rehabilitation of major link roads in the council area and getting the youths gainfully engaged will top his programmes within his first 100 days in office if elected.

He made this known while addressing a mammoth of party members and leaders during the campaign flag-off ceremony organised recently.

Olasoju who utilised the avenue to further task members of the party to work assiduously for the party’s victory on Saturday, July 24, 2021, reiterated that the victory for all the candidates of the party is a requisite for the manifestation of the transformational projects his administration intends to carry out.

Claiming to have in-depth understanding of the community, Olasoju said aside from being born and brought up in Isolo, he has also been an active member of the community and that his administration will work with the developmental and progressives blueprint of his party to return the council to its former glory.

According to him, all members of the council area will feel the impact of progressive governance as he promised the revival of  sporting activities in the council area in order to awaken the sporting talents of the youths.

He announced that free and qualitative health care delivery will be enjoyed at the healthcare centres across the community, adding that the elderly ones will be given Thursday for medical checkup by specialised doctors.

He explained that youth restiveness will be tackled by ensuring that the youths are gainfully engaged in sporting activities and vocational training within the first 21 days into his administration.

He revealed that a sporting centre which will serve as a recreational centre will be created in the council secretariat.

He also promised to make endowment funds available for the women to boost their various businesses.

Emphasising plans  to make a difference by making his vice chairman, Hon. Shapiro Sadiq Adeola more active, he promised to hold regular parliamentary meeting which will comprise of the council chairman, the councillors and the party members for regular assessment and planning for further progress in the council area.

He pledged not to betray the trust of the party, disrespect party leaders at any point in time, stressing that all and sundry in the council area will enjoy his government.
