The Chairman of Ejigbo Community Development Committee (CDC), Prince Jelili Atiku, has called on all Ejigbo residents to take advantage of the ongoing Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) at the council secretariat.

Atiku noted that the essence of the registration is to enable the services provided by government to be fully utilised and also provide an accurate picture for government policy and planning within the state.

He made the call as he noted the cold attitude of the residents toward the programme.

According to him, having a database of residents would not only assist in budget planning but would also ensure making the right investment on sectors such as education, health, environment, transportation, power, security and other amenities.

Atiku said the registration is in the interest of all, noting that government provides foe people based on the number of residents in a community.

He, therefore, encouraged every resident to visit the council secretariat or any nearby LASRRA office, noting that 20 registration centres have been reopened for registration, validation or records update in the local council area.

He also encourages them to use government’s services at designated areas.
