Following the encroachment of fans into the MKO Abiola stadium, Abuja for the match between Nigeria and Ghana in a world cup qualifying game, the world football governing body FIFA have slammed a hefty fine of 150,000 Swiss Franc (About N64 million) on the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The match which saw the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar this year after getting knocked out through the away goal rule.
The inability of the Super Eagles to win the game saw irate fans encroached the pitch which saw officials quickly made their way to the tunnel.
The Super Eagles will now play their next home game against Sierra Leone behind closed doors in June.
