Felicitation As Tribunal Upholds APC Candidate’s, Oshun’s Victory In Mainland

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency were thrown into joyous mood on Tuesday as the National and State House of Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, declared Hon. Moshood Olanrewaju Oshun as the duly elected member of the House of Representatives for Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency.

The Tribunal dismissed the petition filed by the Labour Party candidate, Kamal Olatunji Sanni.

The three member panel led by Justice Abass Abdullahi dismissed the petition and averred that Oshun is the duly elected member.

Other members of the panel are Justice Okon Okon and Justice Esther Alukwu.

Oshun had been declared winner after the election in March, this year.

The opposition candidate who was not certified with the result of the election that favoured Oshun had filed a petition at the Tribunal.

However, he finally lost to Oshun at the Tribunal.
