Federal Lawmaker Appoints 70 Liaison Officers

The Member Representing Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Mr. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo has appointed seventy liaison officers from various sectors of society to enhance engagement with constituents. Each officer will receive a monthly allowance of twenty thousand naira (₦20,000)

 

Echonews gathered that the appointed liaison officers represent diverse groups including the fourteen wards, CDC, CAN, Muslim community, NURTW, artisans, traditional councils, market women and men, NATA, Media, among others.

Addressing the officers, Olabinjo emphasized their role in representing their respective groups’ concerns and conveying them to the Constituency office.

 

He highlighted the importance of providing accurate information, particularly regarding issues like the 100-million-naira rice palliative, to dispel any misconceptions.

 

The majority of liaison officers expressed gratitude for the recognition and stipend, noting it as a historic moment for Ifako Ijaiye.
