Fausat Balogun Memorial Cup: Peace Ikediuba seals victory for Eletu Queens

Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens sealed their place in the final of the Fausat Balogun Memorial Cup after edging out SGH Sport Academy Amazons 2-1.
Sami Azeez, Faith Jaiyeola and Peace Ikediuba were on the score sheet in the game.
Sami Azeez gave SGH Sport Academy Amazons the lead through a goalkeeping blunder in the 12th minute.
It took a moment of individual magic from Faith Jaiyeola as she found the back of the net through a splendid free kick to draw both sides level in the game.
The Amazons had majority of possession in the game but were wasteful in front of goal leading.
Both sides shared the spoils at the end of the first half.
The resumption of the second half showed both sides willingness to win the game and it took a magical touch from Peace Ikediuba to give Eletu Queens the lead towards the end of the game.
Eletu Queens had a player sent in the game but SGH Amazons couldn’t take advantage of it as Eletu Queens won the game 2-1 to be through to the final.
