Ejigbo LCDA Disburses N40million Worth of Palliative to Residents

The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Mr. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello yesterday commenced the disbursement of palliative to residents of his local government.

The event which took place at the Ejigbo Mini stadium yesterday cut across Community Development Associations (CDAs), Religious Associations, Youth Council, Indigenous families, Party Members, Council Staff, Market Man and Women and the Physically Challenged.

Speaking at the event, where all the beneficiaries of the cash gift were invited, the Council Chairman explained that the idea of giving cash gift as palliative, is to give the beneficiaries the freedom to use it for their most pressing need.

He also gave his assurance that every one of the beneficiaries, who gave the right information when filling the form, would receive the palliative in the bank account.

Two Thousand people received Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000) each, totalling Forty Million Naira.

Before leaving the venue of the event, people had started receiving alerts already on their phones and some of them openly acknowledged and appreciated it on behalf of the others.
