Ejigbo DPO, Shonubi Adesola Bows Out in Style

Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, has held a memorable celebration in honour of the retiring Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Ejigbo Divisional Police Headquarters, CSP Shonubi Maryam Adesola.

The retirement party for CSP Shonubi, who served as the DPO of Ejigbo Divisional Police Headquarters, was held at the Gee-Dee Event Centre on February 1, 2024.

The event was hosted by the Executive Chairman, Alhaji Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello.

The Council Boss commended CSP Shonubi for her excellent work in maintaining safety and security in Ejigbo and described her as a diligent, good listener, and law-abiding officer.

Attendees at the event included the local council’s Executive, Legislative, and Management Teams, police officers, community members, Islamic organizations, social and humanitarian groups, royal chiefs, and more.

CSP Shonubi, who joined the police force on February 1, 1989, and served in various commands, was awarded for her outstanding work in handling cases of gender-based and domestic violence.

She is also known for her passion for hospitality and social work and is the CEO of Maladoc Catering Services.

At her retirement party, she received valuable gifts, including a shop, a mini-bus, and a cow. The new DPO, CSP Veronica Ameh, was introduced to the stakeholders, and the Council Chairman expressed readiness to work with her and celebrate her achievements.
