Mejindade and Akanbi addressing the students

The Oshodi-Isolo Supervisory Councilor for Education, Hon. Ganiu Mejindade has advised the students of Krystal Bal School to despise all environmental factors that could distract them and concentrate on their education.

Addressing the students who visited the local council to flag off the school’s annual cultural week, Mejindade told them that they needed to focus on their studies and do away with bad companies at their age and level.

“You have a greater role to play to modify your future. Your teachers can only do their best to instill formal education and discipline, but what becomes of you outside the school? You need to shun bad companies and believe in yourselves to achieve success.”

He appreciated the positive contribution of the teachers towards building a better society, while encouraging the students to develop reading culture by visiting Beko Ransom Kuti Library in the secretariat which is open to public use, rather than roaming the streets.

The Head of Department (HOD), Education, Mrs. Fatima Akanbi also enjoined the students to always take their studies serious and deviate from anti-social vices which are rampant among youths of nowadays.

In appreciation of the warmth reception, the Vice Principal of the school, Mr. Kolade thanked the management of the local council and promised that the school would continue to give qualitative education to build a greater community and country at large.

The accompaning staff members of the school were Mrs. Folagbade, HOD vocational department and Mrs. Okebukola, HOD social science.
