The Orile-Agege Association of Deaf (OADA) has commended the council chairman, Hon. Babatunde Johnson for his occasional assistant rendered to the association since he assumed office in the council.
The association said Johnson had been very supportive to the people with disabilities while some others in the position of authority neglect them.
The chairman of the association, Mr. Raphael Akinbami, while extending his association to all council officials for disseminating the chairman’s agenda towards the less privileged without putting their interest ahead of the masses, said the association was willing to be a part of youth-oriented programmes that would be beneficial to them.
He said their plea for youth participation was what they have discussed over time and that they have realized that they were all willing to take part in such activities.
He, however, noted that the association would continue to expect a government of continuity from Johnson.
He prayed for the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general elections at all levels.
