Davido Reveals Dangote’s Longstanding Bond With His Family

Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has revealed that billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has maintained a close relationship with his family for decades and has advised him on money management since he was a child.

Davido made the disclosure in a recent interview, recalling that Dangote was so close to his family that he drove his mother home from the hospital after she gave birth to him.

According to the singer, Dangote has remained consistent with his financial advice whenever they meet, particularly urging him to save and manage his money wisely.

“Anytime I see him, he still tells me, ‘David, save your money.’ He’s been saying that since I was a baby,” Davido said.

The singer also described Dangote as a close associate of his father, businessman Adedeji Adeleke, saying the relationship between their families has lasted for decades.

Davido added that Dangote’s advice has remained relevant as he has built his career in music and entertainment.
