The officials of Ojo Local Government and Iba LCDA have solicited the recognition of and more honour for the teachers for their efforts at the local, state and federal level.

They said the recognition of teachers is based on their efforts in building society as they are the backbone of every individual’s growth.

The council chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Idowu, noted that the excellence of a teacher exceeds the teaching documented outlined scheme in books as they go extra mile in teaching morals to students which makes students prioritize their teachings.

He encouraged citizens to ensure investing monetarily, physically and emotionally in teachers as they have simultaneously invested in every child they teach.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Iba LCDA, Hon. Yisa Jubril (Abila) said the teachers are individuals who continue to strive to ensure the transformation of education as most children get more civilized and technologically advanced through the teachings and sophisticated aura of their teachers.
