Commuters applaud company for patching potholes

Commuters along Mile 2 Bridge Apapa/Oshodi Expressway have expressed gratitude for the selfless dedication of the Hi-tech company for voluntarily filling the potholes along the road.

The potholes were said to have often caused delay for the motorists navigating the road.

The working tractor was seen adding boulders and crushing stones among other necessary palliatives to fill the potholes on the service lane.

Speaking with ECHONEWS, a resident of Amuwo-Odofin, Adepeju Akiolu revealed that the state of the road had on some occasions slowed down the movement of vehicles in the axis.

She said the company’s courage to take up such a project without any strict order or government interference showcases how much it  put the well-being of the community at heart.

As an observer, she disclosed that she wished more philantropists would contribute to such projects as road construction and rehabilitation, a capital-consuming project that has been the major issue in every administration of all political office holders.

She advised road users to value the little resources extended on the road by maintaining it for a long-lasting and convenient movement to be experienced.
