The newly constituted Community Development Committee (CDC), Ejigbo LCDA has promised to support all Community Development Associations to achieve their proposed plans in their various communities.
Speaking with ECHONEWS, the CDC Secretary, Barr. Bimbo Olawale, said the priority of the committee is to make sure that the projects on the agenda of each CDA are executed.
She explained that the CDC is set up to make impact in the community and to assist the council Chairman in developing Ejigbo by working together with him.
Olawale said the CDC is ready to help the CDAs on their needs to develop the community, urging them to always pass through the CDC when seeking help from the government on their community needs so as to get things in order.
According to her, the committee is there to guide and help the CDA and they must be ready to work with the CDC to get things done properly, noting that CDAs have lots of projects needed to be supported by the government.
She said the organisation of the CDC is not going to be business as usual adding that the CDC is set to educate people on why CDAs exist, its benefits, and what CDA needs to do to work together with the CDC to achieve a common goal of developing the community.
She therefore urged all the CDA leaders to always make themselves relevant in their various communities and be proactive.
