Buraimoh congratulates LASIEC officer on retirement

The chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Hon. Valentine Buraimoh, has congratulated the officer of Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) in the local government, Mr. Olabisi Shodipo on his retirement, describing him as a transparent worker and leader from whom he (Buraimoh) has learnt some aspects of leadership coordination.

He said that Shodipo is a leader that takes into account the consequences and advantages of every decision made in the office that stimulates the development of the department for proper delivery of duties in the council.

Buraimoh noted that he is a man of integrity who is impartial while carrying out his duties which makes him feel secured during electoral processes as he is well assured that Shodipo is an incorruptable leader.

He eulogised the electoral boss, saying his legacy would be forever upheld in the council while encouraging his colleagues across the state to emulate him.

He, therefore, appealed to residents to endeavour to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) as efficient electoral officers are available to ensure transparency during an election.
