Ariyoh promises urgent rehabilitation of schools

Following the demand for new buildings, good fence, gate and sick bay by the management of Folaranmi Primary School Shogunle, Oshodi, the chairman of Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, has promised to rehabilitate some primary schools at Shogunle area of Oshodi soon.

Ariyoh made the promise during the inspection tour of Temidire Primary School and other schools situated in Shogunle.

The Head Teacher of Folaranmi Primary School Shogunle, Oshodi, Mrs. Mary Abayikere has pleaded for the government’s intervention on the challenges confronting the school.

Abayikere demanded that the school needed new buildings, good fence, gate and sick bay.

The council chairman, who expressed dissatisfaction over the deplorable condition of the schools, assured the school management that he will  swinginto action as soon as possible to change the face of the schools and provide the needed facilities.

He vowed: “I will continue to strive to create the best learning conditions for our pupils through which their aspiration for education can be met.We are not relenting in changing the face of education facilities in Oshodi just as we have done in Afariogun Primary School by providing them with new set of blocks of classrooms, modern administrative edifice and new set of toilets and also the near completion of rehabilitation going on in Ishola Dania Primary School, such effort would be extended to this one as well.”
