He added that the shortcomings of the party during the previous elections needed to be avoided to avert future occurrence of what affected the party in the past which arose as a result of disunity among party leaders.
Ariyoh, who appreciated the leaders for their leadership role and experience they exemplified during the elections through which the party was able to record victories in all the electoral outings, noted that the success was a product of collective efforts, which everybody embraced at the end.
He said: “Everyone wants to be associated with success while failure is seen as an orphan because nobody prays or wishes to fail in their endeavours.
“It is on this premise I congratulate our leaders on the success the party recorded at the polls, courtesy of the exemplary and leadership dexterity you all (leaders) exhibited in your various wards.
“I implore you all to continue with the team spirit displayed before and during the polls through which the party was able to record the victory. Peace and unity are very essential for any organization to achieve its aim as seen in the last election.
“I want all the rank and file of the party to continue in this spirit of unity and love through which the party can keep waxing stronger in tandem with the axiom that in unity we stand and divided we fall.”
The LG Chairman also used the avenue to assure the leaders of his determination and commitment to the development of Oshodi as some of his developmental plans for the local government were unveiled.
