Another set of beneficiaries get N10,000 business grant

Beneficiaries of business grant facilitates by member of the Federal House of Representatives, Oshodi-Isolo constituency 1, Dr. Bashiru Dawodu, have continued to commend him for facilitating the support.

The commendation came as Dawodu disbursed the grant to another set of beneficiaries on Tuesday.

Each of the 100 beneficiaries got N10, 000 each to boost their small businesses.

Earlier, about 200 traders were given N20,000 each as business grant.

The lawmaker said the disbursement will be a continual exercise, saying N12million has been earmarked as grant to be given out to beneficiaries.

The N20,000 beneficiaries are to collect the grant for three months from October to December, 2021, while the new beneficiaries of N10,000 are to get the grant for  months – from November, 2021 to April, 2022.

Daqodu said more beneficiaries would be selected to be part of the scheme.

He, therefore, advised beneficiaries to ensure that the grant is utilised to expand their businesses.

Some of the beneficiaries, who spoke to ECHONEWS, promised to invest the six months grant on their businesses for a positive improvement.
