Apply Now: BRIDGE-in Agriculture Offers $10,000 in Grants for Agripreneurs
Young entrepreneurs in Ghana’s agricultural sector have an opportunity to secure grant funding through the 2026 BRIDGE-in Agriculture Pitch Competition.
It is offering a total of $10,000 to support promising agribusinesses seeking to strengthen their operations, expand their businesses and create employment opportunities.
The competition is part of the BRIDGE-in Agriculture initiative, funded by the Mastercard Foundation and implemented in partnership with CrossBoundary Advisory and ASH Africa. The programme seeks to promote agricultural entrepreneurship, improve access to business financing and create sustainable economic opportunities for young people.
Through the competition, three successful agripreneurs will receive grants of $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.
The funding is intended to help selected businesses address critical operational needs, including working capital, equipment purchases and business expansion, subject to the programme’s grant conditions.
Eligibility Requirements
The BRIDGE-in Agriculture Pitch Competition is open to young entrepreneurs who meet the following requirements:
- Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Business sector: Applicants must operate an existing business within Ghana’s agricultural value chain or an adjacent sector.
- Revenue generation: Businesses must have an established revenue-generating business model.
- Growth strategy: Applicants must demonstrate a clear, impact-oriented action plan outlining their business development objectives and expected outcomes.
The competition targets agribusinesses with the potential to grow, generate employment and contribute to economic development within their communities.
The broader BRIDGE-in Agriculture initiative also places particular emphasis on expanding economic opportunities for young people, especially women and persons with disabilities.
Grant Benefits
Selected businesses will compete for one of three available grant awards:
- First Prize: $5,000
- Second Prize: $3,000
- Third Prize: $2,000
Successful applicants can deploy the funding towards strengthening their business operations, purchasing essential equipment, improving working capital and expanding their agricultural ventures.
Application Deadline
The deadline for applications to the BRIDGE-in Agriculture Pitch Competition 2026 is November 9, 2026, at 23:59 GMT.
