Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team have arrived safely in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of their campaign at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

The Nigerian contingent touched down in Casablanca at 10:16 am local time on Wednesday, equivalent to Nigerian time.

The team has since settled at the Ibis Hotel, where the players and officials will begin preparations for the global tournament.

The Flamingos will use their time in Morocco to acclimatise and fine tune their preparations as they look ahead to their opening fixture against Poland on Saturday, October 17.

The arrival marks another important stage in Nigeria’s preparations for the tournament, with the team expected to step up its activities in the coming days.

Further updates on the team’s training schedule and activities are expected as the Flamingos continue their build-up to the competition.
