We’ll Work Harder Than 2023 to Return Tinubu in 2027 — Fola Tinubu

Mr. Fola Tinubu, a cousin of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has said members of the President Tinubu 2027 Re-election Support Group will work harder than they did in 2023 to secure the President’s re-election in 2027.

Fola spoke on Monday during a meeting with community media platforms at the campaign office of the PT2027 Re-election Support Group in Ikeja, Lagos.

He said the group, which is expected to be officially inaugurated on Friday, would operate from Lagos and extend its campaign activities across the South-West states, with a focus on mobilising support and canvassing votes for the President.

According to him, the group is determined to approach the 2027 election with the mindset of victory rather than defeat.

“We will not work as if we are losing. We will work to ensure that President Tinubu wins the 2027 presidential election,” he said.

Fola urged community media platforms across Lagos to play a major role in taking the President’s achievements to the grassroots.

“I want to believe that all the community media platforms across the 57 local government and local council development areas of Lagos are represented here today.

“President Tinubu has done a lot of work across sectors in the last three years that must be echoed in every community across Nigeria,” he said.

He stressed the need for the re-election campaign to move beyond conventional media platforms and make greater use of community-based media to communicate the administration’s policies and achievements directly to Nigerians.

Fola said the grassroots remained critical to the President’s re-election bid, noting that Nigerians at the community level needed to be properly informed about why Tinubu deserves another term in office.

He therefore called on community media organisations to help bridge the gap between the Federal Government and citizens by highlighting projects, policies and programmes of the administration at the local level.
