Ayra Starr To Headline 2026 NFL London Game Halftime Show

Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr is set to take her music to one of the biggest sporting stages in the world after being announced as the headline performer for the halftime show of the 2026 NFL London Game.
The 24-year-old singer will perform on Sunday, October 11, when the Philadelphia Eagles face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The performance will see Ayra Starr bring her music to thousands of fans inside the stadium, while millions of viewers around the world watch the NFL’s London series.
The singer expressed excitement about the opportunity, describing London as one of her favourite cities and the performance as a dream come true.
“I am so excited to perform at the NFL halftime show in London. London is one of my favourite places in the world and to bring Starrgirl to the NFL global stage is a dream come true for me,” she said.
The NFL also highlighted the growing global influence of African music as one of the reasons for selecting the Nigerian singer.
Tim Tubito, the NFL’s Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music and Entertainment, described Ayra as a “generational talent” with a strong connection to audiences in London.
The announcement comes shortly after the release of Ayra Starr’s third studio album, Starrgirl, which dropped on August 14, 2026.
The 16-track project features collaborations with major international and Nigerian artistes, including Wizkid, Rema, ZAYN and Leon Thomas.
Fans attending the NFL London Game can expect Ayra Starr to perform some of her biggest records, including “Dangerous,” “Tornado” and “Gimme Dat.”
Her NFL appearance adds another major international milestone to a rapidly expanding career and further places Afrobeats at the centre of global music and entertainment.
