Questions Mount Over CCC Shepherd’s Role in Tope Osoba’s Death

Questions are mounting over the role allegedly played by a Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) shepherd in the troubled final chapter of late Nollywood actress Tope Osoba’s life, following fresh claims about how their relationship reportedly began.

According to an account revisited by a TikTok creator, Osoba had initially taken her former boyfriend to a CCC clergyman for prayers. The former boyfriend allegedly claimed that the shepherd requested his mother’s name and a piece of his clothing during the prayer session.

What followed, according to the account, was unexpected.

The former boyfriend allegedly discovered about a week later that Osoba and the clergyman, identified as Sup. Evang. Prophet Itunu Onadeko, had developed a romantic relationship.

The development reportedly caused a confrontation, after which Osoba allegedly blocked her former boyfriend on social media. The relationship with the clergyman was subsequently said to have continued, with Onadeko reportedly becoming her fiancé.

The revelations have now raised questions about the circumstances surrounding Osoba’s relationship with the cleric and whether the relationship had any bearing on the difficulties she reportedly experienced before her death.

However, there is currently no verified evidence establishing that the CCC shepherd caused, contributed to, or was medically responsible for Osoba’s death.

The allegations concerning the relationship were attributed to social-media accounts and a former partner and have not been independently verified.

As attention turns to the circumstances surrounding the actress’ final years, questions remain about the people who were closest to her, the decisions made around her during that period and whether more could have been done to protect her wellbeing.

For now, any claim directly linking the CCC shepherd to Osoba’s death remains an allegation requiring evidence.

Meanwhile, Osoba family had said that it would investigate the cause of the thespian’s death.

A close source to the family disclosed to Echonews that the family might file officia lawsuit against both the crystal priest and Osoba’s boyfriend to establish the real cause of their daughter’s death.

It was reported that Osoba died from cancer last week after she had battled tr ailment for a few years.
