The SJ OdiOlowo Chairman’s Cup (OCC) resumed after the weekend break with the matchday six which produced exciting results, with impressive performances across the various categories at the Jide Sanwo-Olu Arena, Ilupeju, OdiOlowo Ojuwoye LCDA.
In the U8 category, Evergreen FA secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Strong Dove. Evergreen displayed composure and attacking quality throughout the encounter, earning all three points with a well-deserved win.
The U13 category saw Mighty Warriors continue their strong campaign with a commanding 3-0 triumph over Ghetto Tigers. Their disciplined display and clinical finishing ensured a comfortable victory as they maintained their momentum in the competition.
FC Rainbow edged Lily Legend 1-0 in a closely contested U15 category fixture. A solitary goal proved to be the difference in a match where both teams battled fiercely, but FC Rainbow held firm to claim the maximum points.
In the Women’s category, Unification Ladies delivered one of the standout performances of the day, cruising to a comprehensive 4-0 win over Flourish Queens. Their dominant display highlighted both their attacking prowess and defensive solidity.
The U19 category wrapped up the day’s action with an entertaining 2-2 draw between Unification Talents and FC Rainbow. Both sides produced exciting attacking football and shared the spoils after a hard-fought contest.
