FIFA Badge Referee, Elite Coach Headlines FEFAP Seminar For Women’s Football Stakeholders

The Female Football Academies Proprietors (FEFAP) is set to organize a seminar for women’s football coaches, stakeholders and enthusiasts on Saturday, July 25 at St Jude’s School, Mushin.

The seminar titled, ‘Building Competent Coaches For Sustainable Female Football Development’ will be anchored by three speakers which are, FIFA badge referee, Yemisi Akintoye, chairman of Ogun State Football Coaches Association (OSFCA), Mr Victor Agbagu and Olajide Royal founder of Royaltoms Academy.

The OSFCA boss who also doubles as the CEO of Chosen Generation FC, Agbagu will be the first speaker of the seminar as he lectures the stakeholders on strategies of coaching women football, tactics and psychology of the game.

He will then explain and correct the myths associated with women’s football, while designing a productive training session and game analysis schedule.

Akintoye who is part of the referees for the 2026 Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) will inform coaches about the new rules or laws introduced to football by FIFA for the 2026/2027 season and educate them on how not to fall victim.

While Olajide will offer advice on how to be effectivein running an administration of an association, building strong leadership, good governance and sustainable growth.

However, Lakeside Queens will trade tackles with STM Doves in the Robo Queens sponsored Wafa preseason final which will take place immediately after the seminar.
