Actor Baba Ijesha, Wife Welcome First Child Together

Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has announced the birth of his son.

The actor shared the good news on his Instagram page on Monday, posting photos from a maternity shoot featuring himself and his wife.

Expressing gratitude to God, Baba Ijesha revealed that the couple welcomed a baby boy, whom they named King Kagar Omiyinka.

Sharing his excitement, the actor wrote that God had exceeded his expectations by blessing him with a healthy child.

“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy,” he wrote.

He also paid tribute to his wife, describing her as strong and supportive throughout the journey to motherhood.

“God gave me more than I prayed for. My ever beautiful wife, strong Jagaban, Abikese de mi owo, @ceolumineeofficial, who became the mother of my son, King Kagar Omiyinka,” he added.

The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans, friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry, many of whom wished the family well as they celebrate the arrival of their newborn.

Baba Ijesha returned to public life after regaining his freedom in November 2025 following the completion of a prison sentence stemming from a child sexual assault conviction.
