Popular Nigerian content creator and TikTok personality, Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, and his longtime partner, Elizabeth Amadou, popularly called Jarvis, have rekindled their relationship after months apart, announcing a fresh engagement.

Peller made the announcement on Thursday via his social media platforms, where he shared a video of the romantic proposal and hinted at plans for their wedding.

“She said YES. My safe place and my greatest blessing. Here is to a lifetime of laughter and making memories forever… we have a wedding to plan,” he wrote.

Jarvis also reacted to the post with a playful comment, asking: “Are you ready to buy aso ebi?”

The proposal reportedly took place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana, where the couple were seen in a beautifully decorated beachfront setting. In the viral footage, Peller led Jarvis to the seafront before going down on one knee to present a ring, which she accepted.

The duo had previously been engaged in December 2024 when Peller first proposed in the presence of family and friends at a restaurant. However, the engagement later sparked confusion after Jarvis described the ring as a promise ring, saying she was not ready for marriage at the time.

The disagreement eventually led to a breakup, during which Peller reportedly experienced emotional distress and went live on social media expressing his pain after an incident involving a car crash. He was also briefly arrested by the Lagos State Police Command before being released.

The couple later reconciled and gradually resumed their public displays of affection. Jarvis had earlier revealed that Peller was her first serious partner to be introduced to her family, noting that age differences had previously influenced their relationship.

With their renewed engagement, the couple appear set to move forward with wedding plans after their turbulent but widely followed love story.
