Popular Nigerian Fuji musician, Remi Aluko, has revealed that he can no longer see, disclosing that he has been battling glaucoma for several years.

He made the revelation during a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, where he spoke openly about his health condition and its impact on his life and career.

According to him, although he previously underwent eye surgery, his vision has continued to deteriorate to the point where he now lives with complete loss of sight.

“I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing,” he said.

The musician added that his condition has worsened significantly, noting that his current situation is comparable to total blindness.

“There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down,” he stated.

Despite the challenges, Aluko said he has chosen to remain positive and not allow the condition to affect his mental health or daily living.

“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed,” he added.

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that can damage the optic nerve and lead to irreversible vision loss if not properly managed.
