Lagos State Launches e-PPPS: Governor Sanwo-Olu Introduces Digital Platform To Transform Planning Permit Process

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has officially launched the Electronic Physical Planning Permit Processing System (e-PPPS), a new digital platform aimed at revolutionizing and simplifying the process of obtaining planning permits and building approvals across the state.

The initiative, driven by the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), is designed to modernize what has traditionally been a cumbersome process, making it faster, more transparent, and more efficient for residents and developers.

With the rollout of the e-PPPS platform, applicants can now conveniently submit their planning permit applications online from the comfort of their homes, offices, or anywhere in the world, eliminating the need for physical visits and long waiting times.

This digital transformation is expected to significantly improve service delivery, reduce bureaucracy, and support the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance ease of doing business while promoting orderly development.
